What to Expect at PantherCreek

We want you to know exactly what kind of experience you're walking into — because it's different from a lot of clinics.

Your own private treatment room — every session takes place in a private room, not in a shared gym in front of other patients. Your comfort and HIPAA privacy are protected at every visit.
One on one with your therapist — your therapist stays with you for your entire appointment. You will not be handed off to an aide or left alone with a machine. This is what Medicare and most insurances require, and it's our standard at every visit.
Hands-on manual therapy — your therapist will assess and treat you with skilled hands. We believe real treatment means real contact, not just handing you a sheet of exercises and watching from across the room.
Access to our fully equipped gym — in addition to private rooms, our clinics have full gym facilities for progressive strengthening when that's part of your plan of care.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we are a Medicare provider. Medicare covers 80% of physical and occupational therapy services. The remaining 20% is the patient's responsibility unless you have supplemental insurance. As a courtesy, we bill all secondary insurances on your behalf.
We participate with most major insurance plans — including Medicare, BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, Cigna, Moda, Regence, United Healthcare, Tricare, and many others. Some plans such as Kaiser Open Option, Providence Open Option, and UMR are accepted on an individual-plan basis. We do not accept all insurances, so please call our office at (503) 698-5500 or contact your insurer directly to confirm your specific plan before your first visit. As a courtesy, our staff will verify your benefits before your appointment.
As a courtesy, we will call to verify your benefits for therapy services before your first visit. Please keep in mind that a verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment — we can only relay what we are told by your insurance company. It is always a good idea to call your insurer directly to confirm coverage as well.
In many cases you may not need a prescription or referral to receive physical therapy. Every situation is different — call us today and we will help you confirm this information before you begin treatment.
